Lee Ryan had dyslexia during school so it made it hard for him to concentrate at school. Lee says that the teachers didn't exactly make it easy for him either - They never really helped him much. In secondry school, He was constantly in detention and even got expelled four times, So making friends was always hard too.

Lee's ambition was always to be a singer, So at the age of 13, he left school and moved to the Sylvia Young Theatre School but didn't enjoy this much either as he always wanted to sing. Lee then went to audition for 'This Morning' as they were making a boyband. The young boy got through to the band and his bandmates were WILL YOUNG and one of the 3SL lads! Nothing ever really happened with the band as the record contract never went through. This is where Lee met his BLUE bandmate and closest friend - Antony Costa. Antony asked Lee if he would like to join the band and he said YES! The story of Blue went from there.

Now Lee is in BLUE, Things are really looking up for him and he has got everything he has wanted since being in school. Dyslexia hasn't affected what he is doing now - Which is really good! Lee hopes to settle down with three children in the future.
